Flower Team Positions

About the Role

Weatherlow Farms’ floral program is evolving to meet the local and regional need for sustainably grown specialty cut flowers and seeks several reliable individuals looking for a beautiful and engaging farm experience. These roles will be responsible for producing flowers, harvesting and distributing the crops and creating design work using the farm-grown blooms.

Field, Greenhouse & Harvest Associate

  • Develop and execute seeding & planting plans

  • Care for annuals and existing perennial plantings

  • Continue development and maintenance of no-till bed systems and soil biology systems, irrigation and foliar feeding systems and propagation plans.

  • Perform and or coordinate maintenance of flower related equipment and infrastructure.

  • Harvest and post-harvest handling of 300+ varieties of flowers & foliages.

  • Prepare & Pack wholesale orders

  • Communicate with wholesale clients

  • Coordinate with design team for retail and event floral needs

This is a year round, salaried position with expected 25+ hours in the low season (Nov 15 – April 15) and 40+ hours in the high season (April 15 - Nov 15). Salary starts at $48,000 ($27/hr) and is commensurate with experience.

In-House Design Lead

  • Create seasonal floral designs utilizing farm-grown materials for farm retail sales and farm events.

  • Field floral inquiries, manage client communication, create personalized floral plans and execute design work.

  • Order and inventory needed hardgoods.

  • Coordinate with field manager to include needed flower types/color palettes in planting plans.

  • Coordinate with harvest manager on needed flower types and amounts for retail bouquets and event work.

This is a year round hourly position with expected 10+ hours in low season (Nov-Apr) and 30+ hours per week in the high season (May-Oct). Starting hourly rate of $30/hr, commensurate with experience.

Event Designer

  • Execute existing floral plans for on-farm events

  • Manage client communication

  • Coordinate with harvest manager on needed flower types

  • Run day of activities including all set up and break down responsibilities

  • Manage freelancers/crew as needed

This is a seasonal position. There are a total of 7 events for the 2026 season. Starting hourly rate of $40/hr, commensurate with experience.
