Kitchen Assistant / Batch Cook / Dishwasher

About the Role

Weatherlow Farms seeks a reliable & hardworking individual looking for an engaging farm experience in beautiful southcoast Massachusetts. This position will be a support role for the farm’s head chef in expanding our prepared foods business.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Learn to execute kitchen staples.

• Vegetable preparation.

• Meat preparation (picking, boning, grinding).

• Starting and straining stocks.

• Packaging & labeling.

• Dishwashing.

• Kitchen cleaning.

Qualifications:

• 2+ previous kitchen experience.

• ServSafe.

• Driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Attention to detail & strong organizational skills.

• Enthusiasm for working on a farm and promoting local products.

• Love of good food and beautiful flowers.

• Self-starter with a serious work ethic, ability to work independently.

Compensation:

• Starting @ $18/hr

Hours:

• 35-40 hours weekly

• Mon-Fri, Daytime shifts
