Across the country, about 14% of households experience food insecurity. Here in Southern New England, the need is even greater, driven by the high cost of housing and everyday living.

Food insecurity means not always knowing where your next nutritious meal will come from. For some families, it goes even further, with meals skipped or portions reduced because there simply isn't enough money for food.
